Lokah Foods is a small company from Nepal, built on a small seed fund and a big belief — that every person deserves access to high-quality, affordable food. No corporate greed. No investor-driven margins that make real nutrition unaffordable for common people.

Nepal imports a staggering amount of food products that we are perfectly capable of making ourselves — and often making better. Every jar of Lokah Peanut Butter is a small act of pushing back. Against unnecessary imports. Against the idea that "quality" has to come from somewhere else. Against a system that profits from keeping good food expensive.

We're not backed by hedge funds or venture capital firms chasing returns. We're backed by a simple idea: if we make something genuinely good, genuinely affordable, and genuinely Nepali — people will care. And so far, they do.

The Bar to Get In

We keep the group small on purpose. 24 spots means we review every application personally. Here's what we need from you:

    Active public account on at least one platform — Instagram, Facebook, or TikTok. Account must be at least 3 months old. No freshly created profiles.

    Fitness or Wellness Focused Content

    Your account should be actively focused on topics like fitness journey, well-being, self-improvement, health, nutrition, biology, food, or similar areas. We'll check. If your last 20 posts have nothing to do with these topics, this probably isn't the right fit.

    Minimum 100 Followers with Real Engagement

    We care far more about genuine engagement than follower count. Real comments, real conversations, real community. 100 people who trust your word is worth more to us than 10,000 ghost followers.

    Follow Lokah Foods on all platforms where you're active. One-time thing.

    Add Ambassador Title to Your Bio

    Display "Fitness Ambassador @LokahFoods" in your bio on your active platform(s).

    One Honest Product Review (Video)

    Create one genuine video review (minimum 30-60 seconds) of any Lokah Peanut Butter — the good AND the honest feedback. Reel, TikTok, or long-form — your choice. Due within the first 2 weeks of receiving your product.

    Share 2-3 stories per week (image or video) featuring Lokah products naturally in your routine — morning oats, post-workout shake, snack prep, whatever fits your life. Tag @LokahFoods in every post.

    You cannot be an active ambassador for a directly competing peanut butter or nut butter brand. Everything else is fair game.

    Accepted? You'll receive your first jar of Lokah Peanut Butter, your unique discount code, a simple brand guideline, and access to the ambassador community. Plus a one-page ambassador agreement — no lawyers needed, just a clear handshake in writing.

We want to be upfront about something. Lokah is a small, bootstrapped company from Nepal. We're not sitting on millions in funding. Every jar we send to an ambassador is an investment we believe in — because we believe in you.

That's why we cap the program at 24 people. Not because we don't want more, but because we want to do right by every single ambassador we bring on. Quality over quantity. Depth over reach.

In return, we ask that you don't join just for free peanut butter. Join because you actually use peanut butter in your fitness routine. Join because you believe a Nepali brand can compete with imports and win. Join because "Lokah Samastha Sukhino Bhavantu" means something to you — or at least, you're curious enough to find out.

If you stop posting, we'll have a conversation — not send a legal notice. If it's not working out, we'll part ways respectfully. If you're crushing it, we'll find more ways to support you.

Frequently Asked Questions

How many ambassadors are you accepting?
We're capping the first batch at 10-24 ambassadors. We'd rather invest deeply in fewer people than spread thin. As Lokah grows, the program may expand — and early ambassadors will always be remembered.
Do I need thousands of followers?
No. Minimum is 100 followers with real engagement. We're building with micro-ambassadors who have genuine influence in their circle — not vanity metrics.
Is there a contract or lock-in period?
No contracts. You'll sign a simple one-page ambassador agreement covering expectations, brand guidelines, and content reposting rights. Either side can walk away anytime. We just ask that you remove the ambassador title from your bio within 7 days if you decide to leave.
Do I have to say only positive things about Lokah?
Absolutely not. Honest reviews are non-negotiable for us. Tell people what you love. Tell people what could be better. That's how trust is built — and that's how we improve.
What if I miss a week of posting?
Life happens. We're not monitoring you with a stopwatch. But if activity drops off consistently, we'll check in. If it's a rough patch, no stress. If you've quietly moved on, we'll pause shipments and have an honest conversation.
Can I be an ambassador for other brands?
Yes — just not directly competing peanut butter or nut butter brands. Everything else is fine.
Do I need to sign an NDA?
No. The ambassador agreement includes a simple line: if we share something unreleased with you, keep it private until we announce it. That's it. No legal complexity.
Can Lokah repost my content?
Yes. By joining, you agree that Lokah can share, repost, or feature your content — always with proper credit to you.
I'm not in Nepal. Can I still apply?
For now, we're prioritizing ambassadors within Nepal to keep logistics manageable and build a strong local community first. As we grow, we'll expand. Stay tuned.
